Combine or merge files into single PDF. Editing PDFs

PDF Expert for Mac allows you to combine two or more files into a single PDF, append one file into another one, and manipulate pages using the Thumbnail mode.

To merge the currently opened PDF with another PDF:

  1. Open the Page Management Mode by clicking .
  2. Click on the ‘Append file’ button .
  3. Select the file you want to add.
  4. Add blank pages, rotate, delete, copy, paste, extract, or rearrange pages as needed.

Easily insert one or multiple PDFs into a designated position in another PDF using drag-and-drop:

  1. Open the file you need to merge with another file and open the Page Management Mode .
  2. Drag the file icon into the page thumbnails of the opened PDF. As you drag, the document’s icon will move between pages to indicate its current position.
  3. You can also drag-and-drop images and they will be inserted as PDF pages.
  4. Add blank pages, rotate, delete, copy, paste, extract, or rearrange pages as needed.

Note: You can drag-and-drop separate pages from one document into another one if both documents are opened in separate windows and the thumbnail mode is enabled. To open the file in a new window, drag-and-drop the tab to the side.

To merge two or more PDF files without opening them:

  1. Open PDF Expert for Mac.
  2. Go to the File menu and tap ‘Merge Files….)
  3. Select two files or hold Cmd (⌘) to select the multiple files you want to merge.
  4. Click the Merge button.
  5. Your newly merged file will be opened in PDF Expert.
