PDF Expert for Mac supports the capability to add text and pop-up notes to a PDF file.
To create a text/ pop-up note:
- Open a PDF file.
- Right click on a part of the page without text.
- Select Text/Note to add a text/pop-up note.
Choose the icon on the annotation toolbar and click on any part of a page without text. Use the keyboard to type the text.
To create a pop-up note, select on the annotation toolbar and click it on any part of the page without text. A pop-up window will appear. You can delete the pop-up note by tapping the trash bin icon. You can also move the note around by dragging it.
Note: the Text note tool analyzes the PDF and tries to avoid overlapping the initial text and graphics on the PDF.
In order to edit the text note, click on it twice. If you tap once on the text note, you will be able to move it around the file.
You can also change the color of the text and the background, choose the font you like and make it bold or in italics. Another option you can use is to rotate the text annotation by 90 or 180 percent.
