How to convert a PDF file to a Google Doc

  1. Launch the PDF Expert app.
  2. In the top menu select “File” > “Open” > select the PDF you want to export to another format.
  3. Switch to the Export tab at the top.
  4. Select the needed format on the top toolbar - it can be “Word” if you want to save it as a Google Doc, or “Text” - if you want a plain text document with no formatting.
  5. In a pop-up menu, choose the “Save” option. Please wait until the file is converted. The process may take some time depending on the file size.
  6. Go to your Google Drive account on the web or folder on your computer and click the “New” > “File upload” option. 
  7. Choose the .docx or .txt file you previously saved on your Mac and upload it to the Drive. 
  8. Open it in Google Drive, click “File” > “Save as Google Docs” in the main menu. 


This way, you will get an editable Google Docs file that is saved on your Google Drive. Google Docs retain the original text and image formatting. Now your newly created Google Doc is ready. You can edit it or easily share it with others.

How to convert a PDF file to a Google Slide:

  1. Launch the PDF Expert app.
  2. In the top menu select “File” > “Open” > select the PDF you want to export to another format.
  3. Switch to the Export tab at the top.
  4. Tap the “PowerPoint” format on the top toolbar.
  5. In a pop-up menu, choose the “Save” option. 
  6. Go to your Google Drive account on the web or folder on your computer and click the “New” > “File Upload” option. 
  7. Choose the .pptx file that you saved previously on your Mac and upload it to the Drive. 
  8. Open it in Google Drive, and click “File” > “Save as Google Slides” in the main menu.
