PDF Expert becomes the only app you need to work with PDF documents. Finally, you can ditch clunky industry-specific apps you used for measuring blueprints or drawing polygon shapes.

Scale and measure drawings
PDF Expert now lets you take accurate measurements on your plans, helping you with takeoffs and estimates.
The measurement tools are available under the new Measure tab that can be added via the + button on the toolbar.
PDF Expert intelligently detects the scale on your plans, saving you time on calibrating them. You can also enter the scale manually or calibrate a PDF to a known dimension.
Once you’ve set the scale, you can easily measure distances, areas, and perimeters on your drawing.
Create sketches on the go
Help clients visualize a future room or building and sketch ideas right on your iPad. The new polygon and polyline tools let you draw rooms and furniture of any shape. You can enter the exact dimensions of the objects you sketch to be absolutely precise. Use hatch patterns to represent different materials and make your drawings easier to read.
The new shapes are located under the Draw tab, together with other useful tools like pens, markers, arrows, circle and rectangular shapes.
Review drawings effortlessly
PDF Expert makes marking up drawings easier and faster with the new annotation tools you’ve been asking for:
- Cloud shape – draw attention to the areas that were changed or need to be updated.
- Callout – add text notes pointing to a specific object on a page.
You’ll find all the tools you need for reviewing drawings under the new Red Line tab. Besides, PDF Expert is fully customizable, so you can create your own set of the tools you use the most.
Pricing
The construction toolset is part of PDF Expert PRO for iPad and iPhone, available at $49.99/year, with a free 7-day trial. The subscription also lets you edit PDF text, images and links, sign documents, merge PDFs, and more.
The existing PRO subscribers get construction tools at no extra cost.
