When you start working with PDF documents, one of the first things you’ll probably want to know is how to add text to a PDF on your Mac. This function is most useful when you have to fill out a CV with lots of fields or your professor asks you to assist with conducting a research survey. - Open your PDF in Preview and click the Markup Toolbar on the main toolbar.
- Click T in the markup toolbar. In a second, a text box appears on your PDF. Click or double-click on it to change the text or type a new one. You can also move the text box if necessary. Simply click on it to grab the box and drag it wherever you want it.

Editing text in a PDF file
